Mr. Hughes has argued a number of cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals, advised congressional committees and administrative agencies regarding tax laws, and represented public companies such as American Airlines and Electronic Data Systems.
Internationally, we regularly represent clients who are expanding into new territories, and have accordingly developed a sophisticated cross-border M&A practice that includes advice concerning transnational joint ventures and a wide variety of construction projects.

He is the President of the North Texas chapter of the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs, Chair-elect of the Board of Directors for the TXCPA-Dallas, a former executive board Lawyers member of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA), and former Young CPA of the Year in the State of Texas (an award given to only one CPA in the state of Texas under 40).
